There’s going to be a massive, three-floor New Year’s Eve party taking place at Brixton’s legendary Dogstar this Sunday – and Brixton Buzz has no less than 100 FREE tickets to give away to our readers! Find out more here!
Themed as ‘Back to the 80’s – a visual and costume party,’ the NYE party kicks off at 8pm with three rooms of music:
- Room 1 : AudioSushi
- Room 2: Brixton Buzz
- Room 3: Superstructure
Keeping the tunes going till 6am will be DJs Disastronaut, Magic Robot, Track Dept, Brixton Buzz (that’s us), Mike Urban, Jizzy Rascal, Sean McLusky and Superstructure, playing ‘five decades of music’ – it’s going to be a crazy night of music and celebration!
Cohesion New Years Eve 2017/2018 @ Club 414
It’s another Cohesion New Year’s Eve at Brixton’s recently saved Club 414 – and what better way to celebrate the club’s future than with a ten hour party with London’s top psychedelic trance peddlers, Cohesion!?! Expect a full-on, friendly celebration with nothing but sweat and smiles until the sun rises on 2018!
PLAYAZ NYE 2017 @ 02 Academy Brixton
Playaz has announced that Roots Manuva, Holy Goof and Subzero have been added to the festival-sized line up for Playaz’ New Year’s Eve 2017 ‘Winter Carnival’, which includes Clipz, My Nu Leng and Hype & Hazard at Brixton Academy on Sunday night. Big, big line-up to see in the New Year.
Off the back of another incredible season in Ibiza and a stand-out performance at London’s SW4 festival, the ANTS colony gets set to return to the capital for a world exclusive NYE show at Electric Brixton. Should be quite a night, this one!
Up On The Roof NYE 2018 with Norman Jay MBE @ The Prince of Wales

THE place to sign off 2017 in festival style with a huge NYE party with a full fat line up of live acts and DJs. As Hoots celebrates it’s 10th anniversary year it seems appropriate to invite one of our favourite acts over the years to headline – The Correspondents. After the pure madness of last year we had to bring the Big Top back… Once again the Notorious P.I.G. team are transforming Jamm into London’s most twisted circus… complete with performers, fire-breathers, stilt-walkers & more circus stuff than you can shake an iPhone camera at. Strictly zero clowns here though… Roll up! Roll Up!
Brixton’s Big New Years Eve Bash @ Market House

For The Love Of Garage NYE – So Solid Takeover @ Brixton Rooftop
So Solid royalty Romeo, Lisa Maffia and Harvey will be partying hard on the Brixton Rooftop as they countdown all the way from 21 seconds to the 2018 New Year! So Solid Crew shot to fame in the early 00s and have kept relevant ever since offering a high energy 60 min set that will keep everyone shaking their meat to the beat this NYE.
Saturday Night Resident HAAi is stepping up to the Phonox booth this NYE. Her ability to effortless weave an eclectic selection of music spanning house, disco and rarities from around the world make her the perfect Phonox DJ to soundtrack the start of the new year.
There won’t be a great deal of Blues to be found at Brixton’s Blues Kitchen as glam up for a night of Disco inspired by New York’s legendary Studio 54 Club this NYE. Expect a night of throwback 70s chic and dance floor glamour featuring cuts from the likes of Donna Summer, Grace Jones and James Brown. Get on up!
