If it’s Thursday, well that’s more or less the weekend in our book, so for anyone looking to kickstart the fun early, here’s two of our favourite late night haunts around Brixton.
Come As You Are at the Dogstar
Kicking off at 10pm and going on till 2am, DJ Freeman (and occasionally Brixton Buzz’s own DJ Editor) throws down an eclectic, party fuelled mix of tunes, from Bowie to new wave to indie-pop ska to drum’n’bass to reggae to rock to anything else that takes their Jager-fuelled fancy – e.g.:
Hot Chip, MGMT, Grandmaster Flash, The Cure, The Smiths/Morrissey, Kelis, Missy Elliott, Prince, Michael Jackson, Sean Paul, David Bowie, Missy Elliot, Destinys Child, Kate Bush, Deekline, Iggy Pop, Drake, Blur, Pixies, Nelly, Le Tigre, Bonnie Tyler, Bob Marley, Killers, Specials, Outkast, Chemical Brothers, Earth, Wind & Fire, The Clash, System Of A Down, White Stripes, Kate Bush, Toots & The Maytals and more!
