While it was cold and wet outside on Saturday morning the craft-tastic Crafty Fox Market took over all three floors of the Dogstar for a weekend that saw over 100 independent makers showing off their wares over 2 days.
As well buying direct from the makers you could sew a Day of the Dead felt brooch, make a bunting necklace or screen print a bag whilst DJs played toe tapping tunes.
And if that wasn’t enough you could enjoy a damn fine cup of tea or coffee with a slice of cake or a delicious savoury sausage roll from the Teas Knees .
Luckily the weather brightened up by Saturday afternoon and the weekend saw over 3,000 people through the door.
We were delighted to see local makers Lucy Loves This, Hairy Jayne, Prickle Press and Rodology in amongst diverse range of makers from both London and the UK.
Described by Time out as ‘one of London’s best fairs’ the Crafty Fox Market has been a regular feature in the Dogstar since 2010 and despite expanding to running fairs in Peckham and Dalston they remain true to the roots running at least three fairs a year at the Dogstar.

The next fair will be held on 6th and 7th December. Phew – just in time for, dare we mention the C word, Christmas.
