Tuesday 23rd December: Boomshed and Fury Xmas Special at Club 414
Billed as a “DISCO hypersexual -CRAZY DANCE DIAMOND POWER MOLOTOV COCKTAIL PARTY AND NUMBER ONES time hits!!!!”, the Boomshed & Fury Xmas Special promises fireworks, wind machines and the opportunity to “mime to your favourite sunsets.” We’ve no idea what any of that means, but it sure sounds a bit more intriguing than your average night out. Trixie’s Pop Shack DJs will be supplying the sounds downstairs, while upstairs there will be a “Molotov Cocktail Party Cabaret with special featured acts, open mic and cafe.”
Wednesday 24th December (Christmas Eve): Vinahaus – Christmas Eve all nighter at Electric Brixton
Globe-trotting Electro powerhouse Vinahaus returns to Electric Brixton to host a crackin’ Christmas Eve all-nighter to kick your crazy Chrimbo off in style. This one will be buzzin’ til 6am on Christmas Day.
Wednesday 24th December (Christmas Eve): Christmas Eve at Club 414
Rave your way in to Christmas Day with a rampant Christmas Eve all-nighter at the 414. Expect eight hours of hard uplifting house from DJs Skol, Hemlock, Matt Ashton, Matt G and Neil KT9 hammering the dancefloor until 6am. There’s a free shot for everyone on entry too!
Thursday 26th December (Boxing Day): Dogstar’s £2 Boxing Day Rave at The Dogstar
With a later opening time of 8pm, Brixton’s Dogstar has decided to throw a Boxing night party this year and they fully expect you to join them! They’re discounting entry to £2 and dragging their favourite resident’s out of the inevitable food-coma they will be in to top them up with sherry and give you the best reason to escape for the evening. Cut price Christmas ravin’ – why not eh??
Friday 26th December (Boxing Day) Shut That Sh*t Down presents Stepback Sessions with Fabio, Grooverider, Randall, Kenny Ken, Doc Scott, Bryan Gee and many more at Jamm
Start your exercise early this year, and bring some of that merry (drunken) Christmas cheer down to Jamm to shake down with some festive moves for this Shut that Shit Down Christmas party. It’s an Old Skool Boxing day special circa ’88-’94, with two rooms full of the finest drum and bass acts of the past twenty years including the pioneering Fabio and Grooverider heading things up.
Thursday 26th December (Boxing Day): Ibiza2London second edition! Boxing Day Special at Club 414
Santa’s hats off to Club 414 who open their doors again on Boxing night for Ibiza 2 London – the second edition! This one, as you might have guessed is a house music night with a sizzl;in’ mix of Brazilian artists and some of London’s most talented DJ’s in the house music scene. Hot stuff!
