There’s another free night of music lined up at the Dogstar tonight, with three breakthrough artists performing on the Newschool stage in the upstairs ballroom of the Brixton venue.
Opening up the night is local singer/songwriter, Rhiannon Sharkey.
Hailing from Brixton Town, she has been picking up positive reviews for her introspective tales of life, love and all things in between, with her songs mixing up soul, reggae, folk and hip hop.

One for fans of Foster the People, Two Door Cinema Club, and Blossoms, Alfie Indra is an indie/pop artist based in Suffolk. He and his band have a number of single releases coming over the next few months which follow his style of upbeat indie/pop melodies with contrasting dark and soulful lyrics.

Last on is Natalie Shay, a multi award-winning singer/songwriter and BRIT School Graduate, who has played prestigious London venues such as the Roundhouse, 100 club, Ronnie Scotts and O2 Academy Islington and she Has supported artists such as Hudson Taylor, JP Cooper, Soul II Soul and Mullally.
Natalie’s third single, ‘This Feeling,’ reached number 4 in the singer/songwriter iTunes top 200 chart.

Newschool takes place on Thursdays in the upstairs ballroom at the Dogstar, 389 Coldharbour Lane, SW9 8LQ.
